Holy Ground Community Actions

Submitted by piinAdmin on Tue, 10/20/2009 - 20:50.

Read the great article in the P-G on the Grace Holy Ground action!
We're On Our Way!
Valley View Presbyterian Church had their Holy Ground community action on Wednesday, August 19 to address the blighted housing in Garfield on N Aiken Avenue.  Property owners of two of the blighted houses have agreed to do what's necessary to clean up their properties.  Due to the efforts of the Valley View core team, the City will tear down two abandoned houses by the end of September!

Join Us at Grace's Holy Ground Action - Tuesday, August 31 at 6!

The Holy Ground Campaign is underway!  Valley View Presbyterian Church had nearly 200 people at their action on Friday, August 13 to address the gun violence in Garfield & East Liberty.

It's time for more Holy Ground action!

Come support Grace Memorial Presbyterian Church at their Holy Ground action next Tuesday, August 31 at 6pm at Grace Church!  1000 Bryn Mawr Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15219.  They will be engaging the City of Pittsburgh to address the disparity in the amount of City resources the Schenley Heights area in the Hill is receiving.

We need your support!  Plan to come & spread the word!
